Shelter, my seventh full-length novel, releases Thursday, Aug. 16, and I’ve put together a little playlist on Spotify to get readers ready for Elise and Cole’s love story.

I probably could have started the playlist off with “A Girl Worth Fighting For” from Disney’s Mulan since Shelter begins when Elise and Cole are kids, but I don’t think Elise and Cole as adults would have appreciated that.

If you have 22 minutes, give it a listen, and look out for references to these songs — subtle though they might be — as you read the book. Just a few more days to go!
